Love Theme Is Like Braveheart!   Friday, December 8, 2006 (4:22 p.m.)
• Now Playing: Apacalypto: By James Horner

John Williams is a remarkable composer and his love theme for this movie is remarkable in of itself. The one thing I noted though....
Was how it was almost similar to the theme music James Horner created for the song, "Secret Wedding". Listen carefully to the music.
I am not saying Williams stole Horner's music nor do I think Horner steals music from others. Sonetimes it just works out that way. "The Simpsons, and The Jetsons," both use the first three notes.
There is only so much music a composer can think of, and I don't think Williams intentionally stole from Horner. In the end, we should recognize how astonishing the music sounds, not who stole from who, otherwise music would not be appreaciated!

Signed, Trevor

Internet is wonderfull.
