GREAT JOB on naming the themes from the other movies. I have to agree with the complaint about lack of themes. I expected more from the AotC soundtrack. You forgot to mention the Jawa theme in ANH. Even they had a theme! The complaint I have though is not only with the lack of main themes, but the lack of themetic material that is not related to a specific place or individual. An example of this would be the Basket Chase in Raiders of the Lost Ark, or the Asteroid Field chase in ESB. For those specific scenes there was structure to the musical material, not just seemingly random action music. I would have liked this for the end battle scenes. I won't talk about the EP I tracking problem again... (oops i just did) Another variation I would have liked would have been action music with themes interspersed here and there, like the battle music in Hook. Five seconds dont go by in that piece without some theme popping up. When Mace Windu strikes there is a great Force theme flourish. When Jengo Fett one-ups Obi-Wan, an expanded strain of the Boba Fett music from ESB comes pounding through. I would really enjoy that! It's good fun.

I JUST bought the Soundtrack and have only listened to the love theme to try and figure out why the hell people think it sounds like Hook. I DON'T GET IT. And I typically notice this kind of thing. Sheesh, I'm so bad, when I saw the movie Cocoon, I noticed a stretch of music that was exactly like music in Star Trek II. And I wasn't even trying! The EP I music in the battle scene in AotC stood out to me like a sore thumb, yet I STILL SEE NO SIMILARITY BETWEEN ANY MUSIC IN AotC AND HOOK!

Keep up the good work all you John Williams lunatics!!!
