I didn't know where exactly to put this comment, so here it is. I want to buy a STar Wars soundtrack, but I only want one because they have many of the same themes and songs so having one should be all that is necessary. But the music on all the films is so great that I can't choose. I've heard all of Phantom Menace, and Duel of the Fates is AWESOME but most of the rest of the songs are only fair to middle. I haven't really heard Attack of the Clones too much. New Hope has the great title theme and the cool music during the destruction of the death star, but little else as heard in the film that really did anything for me. I've often heard that Empire is the best, and the music in the film is really good. But I love some of the songs in Jedi (Yoda's death, final fight in Emperor's throne room) yet I don't really like the goofy Ewok songs. SO give me your opinion: What is your one faborite Star Wars album? Thanks for the input!

Empire Strikes Back. It had the best cues in my humble opinion, especially the snow battle and asteroid field.

I, personally, don't find the new Star Wars soundtracks to be that entertaining (in fact, I don't think I've listened to Attack of the Clones since I bought it). To tell you the truth, I much prefer Williams' older works to his new scores. The new ones are kind of screechy; quick bursts of high-pitched whistles too often. Of course, that's just one man's thoughts.

Empire has the Imperial March and Yoda's Theme, and of course the Star Wars Main Title, three of the best pieces of Star Wars music. I can't choose, though. I kind of look at the Star Wars soundtracks like The Lord Of The Rings soundtracks; multiple parts of one complete score. That is why I'm looking forward to the Revenge Of The Sith soundtrack with the 'Best Of' Star Wars music DVD. All the best tracks from all six scores in video form. Maybe you'd like that.
