My name Mark Couturier. I am currently 20 years old and live in Greenville, MI. I've been into soundtracks for nearly 10 years now and my favorite composer include Goldsmith, Williams, Horner, Morricone, Barry, Goldenthal, Elfman, Zimmer, Isham, and (Thomas and Randy) Newman. Some of my all time favorite scores are HEAVEN AND EARTH, LEGEND, SCHINDLER'S LIST, DO THE RIGHT THING, THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, THE RED VIOLIN, SUPERMAN, PLANET OF THE APES, MALCOLM X, GLORY, KRULL, and APOLLO 13. Composers that I loathe include Fiedel, Serra, and Oldfield. Scores that I particularly hate include T2: JUDGMENT DAY, THE KILLING FIELDS, and THE BOUNTY. I also like classic rock and classical music from the Romantic Period. Besides listening to film scores my other big habit reading about Asian American history, Asian nationalism, and Asian history in general (yes, I'm Asian American).
