I disagree with the review of the Batman Returns score. I own both of Danny Elfman's scores for the original Batman and the sequel and I love the 2nd score. I have heard that score so many times and the original seems boring to me. The Penguin and the catwoman theme create what i think to be a perfect mood for the moment. Silena Transforms is my favorite track from the Cd and i think whoever gave such a bad review should judge the score on its music instead of how the movie came out. The music is perfect for what Tim Burton filmed, so i suggest any elfman fan to go and buy this CD ASAP.

I totally agree, man! I have the soundtrack as well! It's great! I also love "Selina Transforms!" "Birth of a Penguin" is awesome too! And I have to admit, the first Batman score isn't as good.

It's not the fact that the first Batman score isn't as good, it's just the blatent differences between the two. Batman Returns has it's own style and feel to it. I believe it fit perfectly with the film and personaly I believe that the finale is the best piece of music written by Danny Elfman, ever.
