Even though I found this minimalistic theme awkward at first, I realize it was quite daring of Horner, and it has, in fact "grown on me". Tracks 8 and 9 are wonderful, I think. They both contain (gasp) a lot of original material for Horner. The only flaw I find is after the climax of track 9, which is absolutely gorgeous, the strain is abrubtly ended with Horner's all purpose augmented 4th. Pretty cheezy.
