In general I am not big on scores but this one really got to me. The music is so mysterious and I thought it fit the tone of the movie so well. The slight ethnic tone makes it even more beautiful. Who really knows why some music "strikes a chord" but this one does for me. It takes me far away above the clouds and helps me to relax. My favorite tracks are "weather", "boarding pass", "nice to meet you", "seven steps" and "you're excused". I haven't heard any of the other Mychael Danna scores yet but I truly thought this one was worth it.
