In general I am not big on scores but this one really got to me. The music is so mysterious and I thought it fit the tone of the movie so well. The slight ethnic tone makes it even more beautiful. Who really knows why some music "strikes a chord" but this one does for me. It takes me far away above the clouds and helps me to relax. My favorite tracks are "weather", "boarding pass", "nice to meet you", "seven steps" and "you're excused". I haven't heard any of the other Mychael Danna scores yet but I truly thought this one was worth it.

Hi!
I like this score too! Since you have not heard much of Danna, i think you should check out his score for Mira Nairs film "Monsoon Wedding". It is very etnic (Indian). The track "Love and Meriegolds" on that soundtrack is very good! Check it out!
