I'm puzzled how this score gets an effectively fresh label. It recycles a theme note-for-note and gets lost in driftings and chord shifts noticeable from far too many Horner scores. I'm not against a subtle listen, but too much familiarity with this kind of stuff can cause it to become nothing more than background wallpaper. Nonetheless, it still is a pleasant package, and despite its flaws the album is still a decent showing from Horner. An acceptable 3 stars, but nowhere near the quality of the other scores on Christian's best of list, or even any of mine.
