Wings vs Different God   Sunday, February 19, 2006 (6:36 p.m.)

"Wings" in Brokeback Mountain soundtrack is the exact copy of "Different God" by Irish musician Brian Kennedy. Brian Kennedy sang that song in his album in 1999. Is anyone aware of this?

Oh my God, this guy is right...I just heard Mr. Kennedy's song "Different God" and it is a clear rip. The bass line of "Different God" is the "The Wings." It sounds like a verbatim copy...only played up the scale on a different instrument...

Is a "shame on you" in order for Mr. Santaolalla?

I made up "Different God" with my friend Calum...

Lumme...it is identical!
