HONESTLY people! I take my hat off to J.K. Rowling for her wonderful message in the "Harry Potter" books. In each book, she shows that love and good triumphs over evil. She supports friendship, equality, learning, and a myriad of other wonderful qualities that any good Christian should be happy to have. People who are so close-minded that they cannot see the good in everything may not be as good a Christian as they believe. Jesus believed that everyone was created equal and that miracles happen all the time. "Magic" would be a miracle....imagine the good that could be done! I happen to think that there is magic in everyday life...the growing flowers, a good friend, a smile. If you love Harry Potter then do not be bothered by these fundamentalists who cannot climb down from their soapboxes long enough to see a wonderful work of art. They are the sadder for it. I am looking forward to many more Harry Potter stories....may he always triumph over he who shall not be named!
