Sorry, I was wrong. Every note you hear in the movie was composed by John Williams. The things you are referring to as 'recycled' are actually recycled. Williams composed as much as he could under his schedule and Ross was hired to fill the gaps with music from the first film. Sorry about the snap at you, I was wrong :P
