I believe that this score is one of the best fitting musical scores for a movie you will ever find. The music transports you to 19th century China, and has a beautiful subtlety that many western scores do not. The review was also written before the Oscar sucess of the movie, and I believe a new review should be written, and the soundtrack given a greater rating as the poll indicates. This soundtrack should be up there in the five star category as it so rightly deserves.
