Da Vinci & Vendetta Similarities

I had a passing listening of the score, and while the second half of the second cue from "Da Vinci" was playing, I thought I was listening to a familiar "build-up" motif from Vendetta! (I think "Evey Reborn" or "The Dominoes Fall").

Hey, I'm not to suggest that a guy that has been around for ages in the score scene copied a new composer (V's Marianelli), but the similarity is there, and it's funnier more concerning the fact both films are based upon fiction works that challenge mainstream consent (although V is allegorical and thought-provoking while Da Vinci popularised pseudo-history-conspiranoia).
