Ok, here's my last question: What are all these posters (including the Pastor) who agree with this load of crap even DOING on a website about film music??? I personally don't enjoy eating flaming monkey flesh straight from the bone....but I'm certainly not going to go to websites that share those recipes and start calling all the people there evil. I simply avoid going to those websites. It just doesn't make any sense where all these people are really coming from and why they're here on this site if it bothers them so much.

Maybe they've come to save my soul!!!! Whew....After reading three hours of that uninsightful email, I've certainly changed MY mind. Thank you SOOOO much for posting -- it's changed my life!!! Anyone want to take my almost-700 film score collection off my hands????

(yes, it's me responding to my own post)

> Wow! I actually took the time to read this entire post. And I have to say
> that being a Christian is absolutely nothing like this Pastor is saying.
> To start quoting Bible verses that supposedly prove that film music (of
> all things) is evil is truly and honestly a waste of time.

> With all of the important issues in this world, film music should be the

> Of all the things that lead to Satanism, Occultism, Blasphemy, Immorality,
> and Hedonism, film score music????? SERIOUSLY?!?!?! This is like
> 0.000000003% of score music is an eyedrop in the ocean.

> The Pastor spoke of good Christians need to lead by example. But, the
> example being set with this long post is that hours upon hours should be

> Do you want me to try making a list of things that do NOT glorify God,
> because it would go forever:
*the car you drove to church
> job
*baseball games
*soccer games
*the internet in general
*the 4th of July (in America)
*Martin Luther King Day
*Veterans Day
*the Iraq War
*the price of milk
> travel

> Do you understnad that this list is infinite???
Honestly, hardly
> ANYTHING in day to day life honors and glorifies God!!! And does God
> really NEED it to?? Is God an insecure omniscient, omnipresent being??
> Does He really need us to spend every waking moment trying to glorify
> him?? No...He doesn't! As far as God is concerned, as long as someone

> And to be even MORE honest....some of the most moral and good people on
> this planet are people who ARE atheists. It most certainly DOES NOT make

> in that.

> I would be willing to bet my own life that the hijackers that flew their
> planes into the World Trade Center were not thinking that it was God's
> E.T.!!!!!

> I guess what I'm trying to say, Pastor, is for you to spend a lot less
> time worrying about things like this and trying to SCARE people into
> believing in the Lord....and actually spend that time living a good life,
> having fun with your friends, giving good, fun uplifting sermons to people

> would have enjoyed doing the YMCA dance or the Electric Slide at a
> wedding??? Of course He would have had a good time!!!! Even though the
> music isn't GLORIFYING God.

> Basically lighten up and have fun with this life. Pestering people and

> So, in all honesty, it's messages like this that are a disgrace to

> Peace everyone!
