Comments about the soundtrack for The Dark Knight (Hans Zimmer/James Newton Howard)

There are several instances in the score (notably in "Why So Serious?") when the rhythms remind me of stock Thomas Newman work. Wouldn't that have been great--to see Newman and Howard collaborate on this?
