"Earned" Theme?

Hasn't Zimmer said in interviews that Batman hadn't yet earned his theme? I guess we heard it at the end in "Lasiurus" but where is it in The Dark Knight? Is it supposed to be part of the new theme heard in "Like a Dog Chasing Cars," "Introduce a Little Anarchy," and "A Dark Knight?" Doesn't really sound anything like it.
