Review is insane   Wednesday, April 12, 2006 (11:35 a.m.)

DARKMAN is a non-stop juggling of the main and secondary themes. This is probably the most underrated score from Elfman's early '90s output. It obviously impressed Sam Raimi enough to hire the composer again, and again, and again.

We're talking about a emotionally and physically scarred hero here. Not E.T. It isn't light listening, but for those who like big challenges, equally big rewards await in the stunning "High Steel" and finale. Absolutely stunning.
