Though I enjoy and respect the opinion of the man who wrote the review of Die another Day I sometimes scratch my head when he makes references to the word unlistenable when reviewing fun, bombastic music in movies. I noticed this most recognizably when I read his review labeling Black Hawk Down as revolutionary but largely unacessible for most fans of film scores. Say What?! Oh well, I guess some people don't like rock n' roll.

Anyway, I enjoy Arnold's Bond soundtracks, and I almost laugh when I hear angry hard-core Barry fans complaining about the ubiquity of mixing techno and pop with big mean brass and strings. Are you kidding me? We're lucky Arnold hasn't been pushed to get rid of the orchestra clips altogether!

This is a fun score to listen to, even though I'll always prefer John Barry's music.
