This music emphasized what divides people rather than their inherent similarities under God. If there is one thing we can get from all of it is how to be faithful in keeping your promises just like how God keeps His promises in His Word. The soundtrack constantly reminds us that the characters are obviously imperfect beings, instead of pointing out that what kept them together is how they covered each other's backs and saved their lives. This reminds us how God sacrificed His Son for us even if He doesn't really need anything from us. Unlike the implications of this music, they did that in order to get something in return. I do not recommend anyone Christian or non-Christian to see this movie or listen to its soundtrack due to lack of substance. What's the point of having a soundtrack anyway when you can't hear most of it through a hundred slang f-words? That can hardly be called entertainment.
