Basically I am a college student, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I listen mostly to movie scores, classical, and classic rock for my choice of music. I consider today's music (i.e. mostly pop) very unsuitable for listening. The old definitions, and standards of what good music was have been lost. I am not a sheep like most of society's members. I hate N'Sync, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, and those horrible punk bands. I love movie scores, because they are a subtle continuation of classical music for the masses. Of course there is no such thing anymore, and there has not been for a long time; but they come close. I believe that it takes a great deal of culture, and intellect to turn your back on pop music and enjoy classical (i.e. movie scores) instead. I frequently write reviews on this website; I like the scores of Jerry Goldsmith, John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Alan Silvestri, Danny Elfman, and Christopher Young. Well, that's about all for now. I hope you enjoy reading my reviews!
