I've been asking this question for a long time now, but I still want to know if anyone has herd Mancina's score for Traning Day. I really want to see the movie and hear the score. If you have herd it, how is it?

Never fear, my friend - the score for Training Day is very impressive. As with Mancina's previous works, the main focus is on synthetic music, with orchestral music being kept to a minimum. The score perfectly compliments the visuals, without getting in the way. It is just unfortunate that the score has not been released on CD.
