I like it although it doesn't work on every level

True, it is difficult to "enjoy" this score, but it can be done. And it's also true that Alex North may have went too far in some parts, but still, pairing the landscape with this kind of music makes it a truly unique experience, vastly different from the other sword and scocery scores.
It may not be that much "fun" to listen to than say Krull (which is a great score in it's own way) but I like that North did something different. The brutality of some of the themes is wonderful - although the amulet theme very easily gets to my nerves - it somehow doesn't sound right. But the rest - well I said it, it is nice to have something different, even though it can be too different for some people (which is fine)
