Pity I wasn't following this link, or I would have answered this one sooner. My track listing for my hybrid disk goes like this (and answers your question as well). An (82) following the track means it was taken from the first CD, except for track 1. The first track on my hybrid disk is itself a hybrid. The Prologue was taken from the original soundtrack and mated to the Main Title track from the 97 reissue, using Dart Pro (a high powered wave editor and track mixer). The Prologue, track 8 (The Floating Fat Man), and track 11 (Prophecy Theme) Each received a remastering job (using Dart Pro) to adjust their sound levels to conform with the levels of the 1997 reissue. The result? Not a bad little album. Perhaps if someone out there can pressure the powers that be to do it this way, there will be more than a few happy people.

1. Prologue/Main Title (82/97)
2. Guild Report
3. House Atreides
4. Paul Atreides
5. Robot Fight
6. Leto's Theme
7. The Box
8. The Floating Fat Man (The Baron) (82)
9. Departure
10. The Trip to Arrakis
11. Prophecy Theme (82)
12. Sandworm Attack
13. The Betrayal/Shields Down
14. First Attack
15. The Duke's Death
16. Sandworm Chase
17. The Fremen
18. Secrets of the Fremen
19. Paul Meets Chani
20. Destiny
21. Riding The Sandworm
22. Reunion With Gurney
23. Prelude (Take My Hand)
24. Paul Takes The Water of Life
25. The Sleeper Has Awakened!
26. Big Battle
27. Paul Kills Feyd
28. Final Dream
29. Take My Hand
30. Dune (Desert Theme)
31. Dune Main Title - Demo Version

A brief note regarding the track listing. Having seen the movie, I could not recall any instances where track 30 was used in the movie, therefore I placed it at the end.
