Call me a sappy romantic, but the final track Take My Hand is just amazing. I've loved it since the first time I saw the movie and used to haunt CD stores looking for the score.

I agree 100 percent!!!! I can't even explain it, but I know that I have loved this track ever since the movie came out, it's the main reason I bought the soundtrack way back then.

Really?. Sounds like something Jan Hammer would of written for a scene in Miami Vice, with Crockett perhaps strolling along the waterfront with his hands in his pockets thinking about past loves lost etc. It's a quite nice piece of music in itself. But i truly abhore the location where it's placed in the movie. Such a cheesy easy listening track straight after a quasi religious choral crescendo (Final Dream), the song "Take my hand" is perhaps the most ill placed piece of music ever.

I guess so, but consider that its placed there on the soundtrack due to it's place in the movie. *shug*
And yeah, I guess you could call it cheesy...hell, this was 1984 right?
I still like it though, always have, always will.:\ =
