Unused tor missing track?   Sunday, December 18, 2005 (10:15 p.m.)

In the movie right after the wampa carries Luke away to his cave, when the screen "wipes" to an exterior shot of the Echo Base cave opening, where rebel troops are seen alongside a laser battery, there's a little jingle, perhaps of the xylophone. The jingle is immediately cut off by four notes of brass. What interests me is that this jingle sounds (to me) exactly like the jingle in the beginning of the Shadows of the Empire game for N64. I love the intro music for that game, and it is not part of the Shadows of the Empire soundtrack, so I always assumed it was a barely-used part of the original TESB soundtrack (the intial jingle only but not the real substance of the piece as heard if you play the N64 SOTE game and listen to the intro music). Can anyone confirm this? Does anyone know what I am talking about? I have never been able to come across the music except on the N64 and the intial jingle in the actual TESB movie.

If it is the music i'm thinking about the it is on the album - you just doesn't listen hard enough - i can telle you the music is used in another scene - a little hint - try hear all the music in all the scenes that takes place during the atrorid field AND NO, NOT ONLY THE ASTEROID CHASE - Start from THE ATRORID CHASE and end with ATTACKING A STAR DESTROYER and when you have listen all the music throug then i'm sure you know where to find it on the album
