I can't believe that in the review for Eragon, you compared it to Howard Shore's The Lord of the Rings. That's not even a fair comparison! Doyle was not aiming for a score with depth like LOTR, he was trying to create a fairly good score for a lower-budget movie.

I think he succeeded. In most ways, the score was better than the movie.

I'm a little offended that you wanted to compare the LOTR score to the Eragon soundtrack.
