I think this score matches perfectly the film. The use of synthesizers is well done as there is a huge amount of fantasy on this film, as well as the minimalism, which fits perfectly the story about a simple farmer who follows the orders he receives from misterious voices, with no idea of what he's doing. The approach Horner made is really interesting, fits perfectly the film, and still is still an enjoyabke listening.

Only two paragraphs to review a piece of music like this is not fair, I think the reviewer may hate this score a lot, not to talk about there aren't any words for the incredible piano theme that Horner composed for the timeless passages of this film, it's outstanding.

A masterpiece, an essential work for every Horner collector.
