You know, even if it's strong words, I do sort of agree. Zimmer is getting so much flack from Filmtracks that I sometimes wonder why I bother. I found parts of Game of Shadows to be so brooding and effective that it really made me want to watch the movie even more just to hear Zimmer's work in scenes. The 3-part Shadows section is really great and I've listened to it alot over the last few days.

Seriously, not sure what kind of grudge Filmtracks has against Zimmer, but this score isn't this bad. (Although I found the gypsy tracks to be utterly intolerable, especially "It's so overt it's covert"). But the rest is fine.
