Now don't get me wrong, cause I love your work

> For us uneducated Zimmer lovers, what is "planets"?

Well "The Planets" (by Gustav Holst) is a work done back in 1914, and they are works that composers pull from to write their own stuff a lot....Mostly for film scores. And the names of the movements are different planets....but there are only 7...he doesn't write one for earth and pluto was not known of at the time it was written. And one of those planets is mostly used in the "warish" tracks of the film scores....and the one is Mars....I really do think you should check out "The Planets" by Gustav Holst cause they are wonderful peices.
But Zimmer uses almost an exact quote from Mars I think it is in one of his tracks. Not saying it isn't any good just saying to Zimmer that he could try and be a little more original. thats what the planets are...and i hope you check them out jason...later,

alex
