It is one of the most awsome sound tracks I have ever heard. I have loved music with all of my heart ever since I was a very little little girl. I absolutely LOVE the compositions for Gladiator. Hans Zimmer is incredible, as well as Lisa Gerard. I have never heard such beautiful, stirring, music for a movie since Gone With the Wind. These are my 2 favorite movie scores. Lisa sings from the bottom of her soul. Her range is incredible. I was really disappointed when Hans did not win the Academy award for his scores for Gladitor. I really feel he deserved it totally. I cannot begin to say how much the music in this film moves my spirit. It makes me cry deeply every time. I must throw in here also, that Joaquin Phoenixs' performace in Gladiator was simply AWESOME and mesmerizing. Russel Crowe also. They make a dynamic duo in film. I have watched Gladiator over 80 times (more than I've every watched a movie). I believe this was due in part to the music by Hans Zimmer. Thank you.
