Hey, I hope this helps.

The song appears to be in A Major. The chords below are written as I hear them. If anyone has any corrections or suggestions about the notation, please e-mail me or post a response here.

Note that I use my own transcription of the lyrics to "Now We Are Free". And note that originally I wanted to put the chords above the syllables where they're supposed to go, but the small bits of HTML font code didn't seem to work, so I put them after the syllables.

I became interested in writing down the chords after a friend of mine told me he wondered what made the song sound as though it were suspended. As I listened to it, I believed it was because the song didn't resolve (i.e. return to the A chord it starts on) until the very end. However, when I sat down with my keyboard, I realized it does resolve in certain parts, though only temporarily (the Bm chord quickly delays any satisfying resolution).

It's truly a masterpiece that through this process creates in the listener a sense of contemplation and longing, as it tries to describe a feeling that is beyond words.

This is just a small update to correct two errors I found in my tab transcription. The chord marked "E/B" should actually be "Bm", and the chord marked "F#m/C#" should actually be "C#m". Although the ones I initially wrote sound good, when I played it again, I realized I was wrong.
