According to rumor, and the author of the book Gods and Generals, Jeff Sharra, the DVD will be released next summer. However, many people who asked about the release with Ron Maxwell (the director)were told in a newsletter that it would be released in the fall of 2004. It is certain it will be released sometime next year. You might try emailing the director himself at his website (
