Music in movie but not in soundtrack |

I have noticed that there are many great music parts in the movie, but they are not in the soundtrack. I think, that it might be possible that Ron Maxwell could be doing the same thing with the "Gods and Generals" soundtrack that he did with "Gettysburg." For the 5 year anniversary of "Gettysburg" a 2-disc special edition soundtrack was release with much much more music from the movie "Gettysburg." I think they might be planning to release a special edition "Gods and Generals" soundtrack with the extra music.

When you buy the CD, you get a DVD extra, with several songs not in the most recent movie. I suspect those will be in the longer "director's cut" version, whenever that gets relesed.
So, I suspect you might be right, to some extent.
