Personally, i love the dialogue, while this album is mostly instumental, (one of the qualities i appreciate), i think it adds ambiance and romanticism to the tracks, and it is not overdone. i could listen to Anthony Hopkins voice as "Hannibal" forever, and the recitation in italian (Latin?) is lovely. Overall, i find that the spare dialogue enhances, rather than detracts. It comes across as poetry.
