This score is definitely a grand effort on the part of Hans Zimmer, and Ridley Scott also deserves credit for latching on to Zimmer after the great Gladiator album. This score, of course, is a grand departure from Gladiator, although this is still a grand effort, with exceptional use of strings and eeire coral arrangements, especially in the first track, which is my favorite on the whoe CD! If one is driving down a dark, empty side street as I was the night I purchased this great score, the suspense and terror is even greater, and that much more fun. Ta-ta!
