I wholeheartedly agree. It is one of those soundtracks that is a fun listening experience the first few times, but it gets a bit boring after that. It is not that type of magic and thematic wonders that Williams did with Hook.

Even so, this is good music to listen to when you are doing something else. It is not overly bombastic or action-packed, it is merely a soothing 70-minutes that is relaxing and gently thematic as it slowly bring s you into the world of Harry Potter (I did not particular enjoy the movie that much, but the music did quite well in it).

It isn't an "A.I.", it isn't a "Hook", and it isn't an "E.T.", but go out and buy it if you enjoy Williams music, or even, for that matter, if you don't.
