I know this is a tad too late, but I don't care. I am worked up over it. It's my most favorite of Goldsmith. I don't look for originality. I want Goldsmith-action scores that uses his common motifs (i.e. mid/high-pitched strings, razor-sharp trumpets, blaring French horns, techno sound setting the tempo for chase music) This one really takes advantage of them and uses them all.

I think it takes several listens to really appreciate it. I find it to be a very clever score. I've noticed that the theme does, in fact, play throughout the album. Not the theme in "The Hollow Man", but there are secondary themes that are in almost every cue. When you get to know a score that has noticable themes, like this score, (in your heart) it sounds famous and the kind that would re-appear in a sequel. The only gripe I have about this score is that Jerry Goldsmith insisted that he leave some cues off the album, but other than that, I love it!
