Christian, I found your reference to those who are suffering enough to be suicidal and your idea of 'mood music to kill oneself by' both distasteful and insensitive. I also feel your assertion that "The Hurt Locker is so overwhelmingly depressing that those who claim its merits outside of its duties within the film probably have issues of their own to deal with" ridiculous and unfounded. As I have stated, I thoroughly enjoy listening to the Hurt Locker score and I claim its merits outside of its duties within the film, that probably means I have issues? Why are you so judgmental and presumptuous? Why can't I just enjoy the music and not be branded someone "with issues" just for doing so? If you dislike the score that's fine, I'm not going to attack your character for it. For someone who has reviewed so many scores you've still got something to learn about professionalism and decency.
