I wonder if you have the one which is in filmtracks.com, is the "Lift Off - Mothership *- Rebellion" as it is in the film because in mine "The Virus" track which is the entrance to the attack music is not the same as in the film. Is yours longer and more like in the film? If so can you make me a CD-R copy? I can pay you with post. If you are interested please mail me back. I have lots of "complete score" mp3's. If you want I can make a list.

I have the rare WORLD 006 2-CD set and I noticed that from your track list, you are missing the cues "Launching Welcom Wagon" and "Nuke Attack". As I have not heard this "other" bootleg version, I assume and have concluded after comparing the running time totals on both bootlegs (that is, comparing only the exact same tracks on both bootlegs MINUS the following tracks on the 'other' bootleg version: "End Title (Demo)", "End Title (Film Version)", "Escape (Demo)", "Jolly Roger (Film Version)"), that these cues are inexplicably missing on this "DACD 002" label version you downloaded. Also, the "Lift Off - Mothership - *Rebellion" on my bootleg version is also presented totally different on the CD as heard in the film - especially the attack sequence ("Rebellion") when the President and the drunk Cropduster pilot destroy the virus-infected saucer. I hate it when not all of the actual film version cues are not presented (as presented and heard in the film) on a "Complete Motion Picture Score" CD release.

I Have a 2-CD set, which is probably the same as the WORLD 006
version, but mine has the better-sounding track names. ("Checkmate",instead of "Hiller sees the saucer")
There are probably many variations on these albums, in terms of the
individual tracks-Ex. on the original album, " Base Attack" is one
6 minute long track, but on my CD, it is two 3 minute long tracks with a
slightly extended ending.
All I'm saying is, we all probably have the same music (minus the demos)
in differently edited forms. We also probably have completely different
artwork as well.

Go to www.slsk.org, download soulseek, it's a sharing program like napster but better, when you login, look for the room MovieMusic, join there and browse the user's files, there are some users with 30000 mp3's in their HD, they have everything, absolutely everything.

Re: Bootleg Tracks I have   Thursday, July 22, 2004 (3:42 p.m.)

I have the World Records 006 version of this score the 2-disc set that's listed here on the site. If anyone wants a copy of it E-MAIL me and we'll see what we can do. Please DO NOT add me to your MSN buddy list I do not accept notifications from people I do not know. E-mail me first please at BigTrekster1981@hotmail.com and we'll see what we can do like I said.

Please put in the subject line ID4 or Independence Day score so I do not delete it since all e-mails addresses that are NOT in my contacts go directly to junk mail. And track listings will be below...I took the liberty of re-naming a couple of em' to confirm better with the film. And the World Records 006 version which is the one listed here on filmtracks.com is the best version out there.

Re: Bootleg Tracks I have   Sunday, July 13, 2003 (1:58 p.m.)

I have searched and searched, but there seems to be nowhere to get the bootleg CD I have heard so much about--not even on screenarchives.com or intrada.com. So, HOW CAN I GET IT? Please let me know, or perhaps you make copies of some of your stuff to sell. Thanks.
