Comments about the soundtrack for Jaws (John Williams)

dare I say it? I perfer the original album

I much perfer the arrangement of the Jaws music in the original album. Especially the Tourists on the Menu, which is shorter than on the original. The old album also arranged the music in a suite format for the best possible listening experience.

This album is complete, of course, but cumbersome, unweildly, uneven, and a even a bit bloated.

Great music.... best in the film. This album is not kind to the complete score.
