A fine score indeed, and a fine review as well. While I do think the score is deserving of that final 5th star (the only US score of the year that earned it in my mind, sandwiched between Ponyo and Mongol), I'm not going to nitpick. The score is infectious, energetic, and full of grand themes and orchestrations that call back to the Arnold action scores of the 90s. A welcome, wondrous surprise. I'm hoping this takes top prize from Christian, though that would be the weakest quality review to take top prize in anything...ever.

I will nitpick Craig's evaluation of the film. I thought it was quite fun, a film that didn't take itself too seriously and was thus more fun because of it. It's the film Stephen Sommers would make if he had any subtlety or genuine talent. Funny, enjoyable way to escape the can only imagine if I'd seen it in 3d! Stupid Mackinac theater...
