I don't want to read about this old Conti garbage. Where is Filmtracks' review of James Horner's 2010 score??

The new Kung-Fu Kid score is a download only so you might not see a review. In saying that, Conti's superior effort blows Horner's rather ordinary effort out of the water! Conti's The Karate Kid and the subsequent sequel scores are fantastic efforts with lots of warmth, heart and memorable themes.

Perhaps you might want to actually listen to the Horner score. Its surprisingly good. The Conti score was iconic, but 25 years later is not standing the test of time very well with its simplistic orchestrations and use of synths. The Horner score is a very warm and rich effort with lots of tender moments of solo piano. Sure, its familiar sounding in places but retains it own identity throughout unlike Avatar and does what its supposed to do. Its a wonderful listen, even after 2 or 3 times.

Don't worry. Clemmensen will pull that review out of his ass when he's good and ready.
