Absolutely. There is no question about the origins of the song.

The mystifying part concerns the studio mix - which is far less layered/ processed than the commercial version on the album: "C'mon, C'mon" (2002).

I became immediately mesmerized by the song, and have chased the origins endlessly. What I have come up with is the studio version on the album, which has a heavy grunge track underlying the lead vocals. At first, I couldn't stand it...but after review, I became so hooked on it that now I actually prefer it.
