I for one, loved the film version and appreciated the vocals, but that's because I have never actually heard any other rendition of the music. The single CD album is a sad joke (played on me too, by the way), with sound effects and mutitaled (abridged) sections, but some of the performances are somewhat intact.

However, if Clem considers the vocals by the actors on the 2012 film to be atrocious, then the stage recordings must sound EFFIN' FANTASTIC!!!!!!111

I didn't think the vocals were that bad until I listened to the 25th anniversary CD. It blew the film away in every way.
