I have spent this past weekend listening to the "Lincoln" score. To me, this score is another proof why I love John Williams' music so much. It has it all I'm loving about (film) music and although the older John Williams gets the more some of his compositions for films sound less like scores and more like concert pieces, I could hardly complain about it and on the contrary, I'm happy it is so...

Although exceptions exist and are very much welcomed, I really cannot think of any other living composer whose scores would consistently have such huge emotional impact on me (last time it happened was with "Nomad: The Warrior" and to a certain extent with "Fellowship of the Ring").

Mr. Williams, I'm grateful you're still around and writing music! Thank you!
