Christian's review is spot-on. This has long been a favorite of this Goldsmith fan, with a number of memorable themes and fine action music. I find that there is considerably more variety in tone and style than in many of Goldsmith's later efforts, and the electronics fail to detract from the experience. The only real knock on it is that the recording/performance is sometimes sub-par, but the quality of music easily makes up for that. *****
