Goldsmith's best forgotten score!   Friday, January 14, 2011 (8:24 p.m.)

Unfortunately, I only have the excerpt from the Varese Srabande anniversary set, but it's truly outstanding. I would have loved to listen to Volume 1. It deserves to be re-released.

It's indeed a wonderful score, one of my favorites by Goldsmith. I was lucky to run into the the third release of the album (the combination of vol 1 and 2) at my local record store a couple of years ago.

Hey guys. Just wanted to post this quick, but the 'deluxe edition' of this score comprising both volumes 1 and 2 is available on iTunes for download at $11.99! Cheaper than buying it secondhand possibly, no artwork but it's the music that matters.

Anything to get the word out about this magnificent score!
