I love the Fellowship of the Ring music, but I don't worship it. I believe it's alright to really like something without becoming obsessed with it. From the sounds of it, the Fellowship is probably your favorite soundtrack.
However, an obsession can be a dangerous thing. Your friends may not feel as comfortable around you since you have this obsession. What I'm saying is that relationships can suffer greatly as the result of an obsession. Which is more important? Your friends? Or a soundtrack? I've seen the destructive nature of an obsession, and it's not a pretty sight.
It is extremely pretty music, but I won't let it interfere with my relationships. Friends are more important than music!
