I have yet to hear any of the extended version, but I have been hearing a lot about it. I recently acquired a copy of the Two Towers soundtrack, but it is harder to hear b/c I've only seen it once. I agree that the 'Lament for Gandalf' is a haunting song. My heart stops b/c I know the exact tim that Legolas says "I have not the heart to tell you. For me the grief is still to near." It is one of my favorite lines. Thank you so much for agreeing with me. It is nice to know that someone does.
